MEET LINDSAY WHALEN

I am a photographer, videographer, and designer working out of Gardner, Colorado, primarily in the realm of real estate. For me, photography as a job was a fluke—something that began as a necessity in architecture school, became a hobby, and then grew into something worthwhile. I discovered that Colorado was the perfect place to put my skills to use, especially in real estate, since nearly every job is both a landscape shoot and an exercise in spatial presentation. Videography is a natural extension of this creative passion, and I am working to expand into other forms of photography, such as portraits, and design, such as website design, as well. 

I graduated in June 2021 with a Bachelor of Design in Architecture from UCF, and received my FAA Part 107 Drone licensure in September 2022. 

After moving across the country to marry my high school sweetheart and finishing out college during COVID, I decided to explore what directions I could take my education, mostly so I didn’t have to sit at a desk all my life. I dabbled as a real estate agent in Denver and became a showing specialist/transaction coordinator for another agent, and then started work as a photographer, eventually striking out on my own to form Whalen Design & Photography. My husband, Noah, and I moved to Gardner to an off-grid home in the summer of 2022, and our first child, Sawyer, was born in January. 

As the newest team member of WDP, Sawyer will be joining me at work via baby carrier. We love meeting and building relationships with our clients, and we always try to go the extra mile for them. Feel free to reach out at any time to talk with us, and we look forward to meeting you!
