At the intersection of Curry Ford Road and Crystal Lake Drive, near Downtown Orlando, the Hourglass District lies awaiting renovation.
This project explores program through reimagining the Hourglass District as a hub for recreation and wellness. It focuses on the relationship between a physical therapy building, a pool, and a multi-level track as the best example of the key words “circulation” and “envelopment” with plays on transparency, isolation, and purposeful exclusion.
